Jon Hamm, Lena Dunham Explain ‘The New Yorker’ iPhone App [VIDEO]


To help promote its new iPhone app, The New Yorker turned to Jon Hamm, Lena Dunham and Alex Karpovsky to give it a comedic introduction.

Styled like a late '80s late-night talk show (hosted by Hamm), the spot features Girls stars Dunham and Karpovsky explaining how to use the app. The video in the latest issue of The New Yorker on the iPhone.

This isn't the first time Conde Nast has employed actors to show off its apps. The iPad edition of The New Yorker features a guide starring Jason Schwartzman.

Still, we think it was smart for the publication to jump on the Girls bandwagon for this spot.
